Fallen Blue

The Wasabi brothers have always had close ties to law enforcement. Wasabi bassist Jay Hitaffer has protected and served for 10 years; first in Baltimore city, and then later in the town of La Plata.  Choosing to put your life on the line for the sake of community and those around you is a unique calling.  It can be demanding, exhausting, perhaps even terrifying.  But there are those in the world who meet those elements head on, and in doing so strive to make the world a safer place.

That is why Wasabi has teamed up with the good people of Fallen Blue, a non-profit organization that uses music to raise money and awareness for the families of fallen police officers.  Formed in 2010, Fallen Blue provides support, both emotional and financial, for the families of officers killed outside the line of duty.  Their goal is to aid the mourning families during their time of need, helping them cope with the loss of their beloved officer as well as honoring his or her memory.

On November 10th, join Wasabi at the Recher Theatre in Towson as they open for rock heavy-hitters Don Dokken, Mandi Lion, King Belvedere, and many others! This fundraising event will be hosted by Twisted Sister' drummer, AJ Pero.

Tickets for the event are $20 at the door, and we have Meet-n-Greet VIP Laminates for $45. Doors open at 1:00 PM with Wasabi scheduled to go on at 2:00 PM.  Please join us for this awesome show for such an amazing cause!
